What are the very worst gifts you can give men?

Think back to all those times you've ever been given something and you've unwrapped it and your heart has sunk but you've managed to blurt out a "Thanks it's all I've ever wanted" to the giver and turned your bitter twisted frown into a brief frown.
This is the list of things no one wants to ever get - and things you should avoiding giving as presents

What is the very worst thing anyone has ever given you?

A handknitted nylon tanktop? Despite someone having gone to a lot of effort this will be most food in the back of the wardrobe. Only it won't, moths never eat nylon.

A flourescent green school bag? When every other kid in school carries bags the colour of black holes.

Something with your age printed on it.

Anything pink. Nothing against people who like pink but let people make their own decisions about buying pink things.

A photo album or scrapbook. Men don't do the photo thing like girls do. Men might well have dozens of photos but they'll never be arranged in any other way than shoved in the back of a drawer in the packets they came back from the developers in. Digital photos will get the same treatment - shoved in a folder and never looked at again. The only photos they look at frequently will be ones you don't want putting neatly in an album for their aunty to look through.

Of course there's a list of traditionally given gifts for men such as socks, handkerchiefs, aftershave and ties. There's nothing intrinsically wrong with these as gifts unless it's the only thing you get.
